Reward increases for information on Parsons dog killer

The reward for providing information on the person or persons who killed a dog owned by a Parsons, Kansas police officer last week has increased.

The reward is now $3000, instead of the original $1,000.

A Parsons officer let the 3-month-old German Shepherd puppy named Ranger out last Friday morning but returned later that day to find the canine decapitated.

Anyone with further information is asked to call the Parsons P.D. at 620-421-7060 or email tips@parsonspd.com.

You also can donate to the reward fund by contacting the City of Parsons or making checks made out to “City of Parsons – reward fund” to the Parsons Municipal Building Water Dept. at 113 S. 17th Street.
