MSSU welcomes students into Phi Alpha in recent induction ceremony

Missouri Southern State University recently welcomed a dozen students into the Chi Gamma chapter of Phi Alpha, which is the national social work honor society.
Phi Alpha’s website says their goal is to “provide closer bond among students of social work and promote humanitarian goals and ideas.”
Students must meet the following requirements to gain membership to the organization, including being a declared social work major, completion of 9 credit hours of required social work courses, have a minimum 2.7 GPA in social work courses, and an overall GPA of 3.0
