Woman charged with shooting, killing husband in McDonald County
A woman from McDonald County has been arrested on accusations that she shot and killed her husband. Read the full press release below:
On Tuesday, 11-16-2021, deputies responded to an address on Pleasant Grove Road, west of Anderson after a shooting was reported to the 911 Center.
Deputies arrived at the address to find Harold Lee Wynn dead from an apparent gunshot wound to the head. First arriving deputies secured the scene and called for additional help from supervisors and detectives.
The scene was processed and after the preliminary investigation, Wynn’s wife, Dawn Renee Wynn, was taken into custody and transported to the McDonald County Jail.
A probable cause statement was prepared by MCSO Detectives and presented to the McDonald County Prosecuting Attorney and warrants were issued for Dawn Wynn for the crimes of Murder, 2nd Degree and Armed Criminal Action, with No Bond.
A .40 caliber pistol was located on scene and seized as evidence. An Autopsy of Harold Lee Wynn was conducted today in Ozark Missouri. Evidence was also collected during the autopsy.
Dawn Wynn has been arraigned in McDonald County Circuit Court.
