Missouri Secretary Jay Ashcroft to speak at Governor’s Conference on Agriculture this afternoon

Missouri Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft will speak at the forty-ninth Governor’s Conference on Agriculture this afternoon in Osage Beach.

The event will take place at 12:30 pm at 494 Tan Tar Drive in the Tan-Tar-A Conference Center.

During the event, Ashcroft will speak on the strong proponent of agribusiness in Missouri as well as efforts to support and maintain family farms.

Ashcroft went on to say in a news release, “Agriculture is the backbone of our state – it exemplifies core virtues like determination, hard work, innovation; it builds character and self-worth and it promotes family values.”

Missouri has the ability to produce hogs, cattle, turkey, and other commodities.
