Blunt to deliver remarks at Negro Leagues Baseball Museum
U.S. Senator Roy Blunt of Missouri will deliver remarks at the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum in Kansas City tomorrow.
At the event, Blunt, who helped introduce the Negro Leagues Baseball Centennial Commemorative Coin Act, will join Museum President Bob Kendrick in unveiling the design for the coin.
The Coin Act, which was co-introduced by Missouri Rep. Emmanuel Cleaver and others, was signed into law last year. It directs the U.S. Treasury to mint a coin to commemorate the Centennial of Negro Leagues baseball.
The Museum which was founded in 1990 in Kansas City.
