Joplin Police investigate reported shooting

The Joplin Police received a 911 call about a shooting just before 10:30 this morning at a residence near 9th and Connor in the city.

Police say one victim was transported to a local hospital reportedly suffering from a gunshot wound.

No report on the man’s condition is currently available.

Joplin Police officers and JPD Detectives are in the process of conducting an investigation.
