Two people killed and three injured in two vehicle crash Tuesday night
The incident happen on Hwy 37 in Barry County around 7 PM
Two people were killed and three were seriously injured in a crash that occurred in Barry County on Hwy 37 in Purdy Tuesday night.
The incident happened around 7 PM.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol Crash report says that 18-year-old Monett resident Taylor McGlothlin was traveling northbound in a 2013 Chevrolet Cruz when he collided head on with 33-year-old Cassville resident Maria Haros, who was driving southbound in a 2011 Chevrolet Malibu.
Both McGlothlin and Haros died at the scene.
Neither were wearing a seat belt.
Three passengers involved also received serious injuries from the event.
These individuals were an unnamed 15-year-old juvenile, 20-year-old Katlyn Rose, and 21-year-old Katia Knott, all from Cassville.
None of them, with the exception of the juvenile, were wearing a seat belt.
The unnamed juvenile and Rose were both taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment.
Knott was taken to Cox South in Springfield for her treatment.
