Red Cross is dangerously low on blood and platelets in Missouri

The American Red Cross says it is dangerously low on blood and platelets in Missouri.  

The nonprofit says its seasonal blood supply in Missouri is at a 10-year low. It has reached emergency status – leaving less than a day’s supply of blood on hand to help hospitals save lives. 

Donors of all blood types – especially type O – and platelet donors are needed.
