New ladder truck for Fire Department on agenda
The Joplin City Council meets Monday night.
Among items on the agenda will be a request from the city staff for the Council to give its approval for the purchase of a ladder truck for the Joplin Fire Department.
The ordinance under consideration would allow the the City of Joplin to enter into an agreement with MacQueen Equipment Emergency Group.for the purpose of purchasing a new Pierce Enforcer Aerial 107-foot Ascendant with a rear-mount aerial.
The price for the truck is $1,124,000.

The MacQueen Group says it can deliver the truck to the city within two to three months.
