No MAPS or Sunshine Lamp Trolley service Saturday

If you’re looking for a ride on the Metro Area Paratransit System or the Sunshine Lamp Trolley in Joplin on Saturday don’t bother.

A notice from the City of Joplin online says both systems will not be running Saturday due to a shortage of transit drivers. According to the City’s Job site, the position requires a valid Class B or higher CDL with passenger and airbrake endorsements or the ability to get the airbrake endorsement within 60 days.
