City of Joplin sending review materials for Proposition Action to residents ahead of election

As the November election gets closer, the City of Joplin is encouraging residents to review materials they receive in the mail that focuses on the ballot item Proposition Action.
An educational brochure has been developed by the city to help residents who have questions about this issue.
Proposition Action includes six areas related to the goals of community improvement.
A news release from the city of Joplin says these areas are, “Improving Community Appearance, Address Declining Neighborhoods, Increasing Economic Opportunities, Address Homelessness, Reduce Crime and Increase Safety, and Increasing Resilient Revenue.”
