Missouri’s Department of Public Safety is launching a grant program to help deter crime in seven Missouri communities.
One half million dollars in funding is available through a new state Economic Distress Zone Fund. Eligible applicants must meet certain requirements and apply by October 29th.
The service areas in the state of Missouri are: The Village of Riverview, The City of Pagedale, The City of St. Louis , The Village of Hillsdale, The City of Vinita Park, The City of Moline Acres and the City of New Madrid.
The Economic Distress Zone Fund grant program was established by the General Assembly and signed into law by Governor Mike Parson on June 29, 2021.
