Local attorney announces plans to run for Division Six Judge

The campaign to be Division Six Judge in Jasper County has another candidate.

Local attorney Nicole Carlton says she’ll be joining the race.

Carlton, who practices family law, grew up in Carthage and has been an attorney since 2009 when she graduated from the University of Arkansas.

Attorney Luke Boyer also is running for the position.

The position will become open with the retirement of Jerry Holcomb next year.
