Two people dead and one injured in Sunday evening crash in Greene County

The incident happened at 5:05 PM in Greene County

Two people were killed and three injured in a two-vehicle crash that took place Sunday evening at 5:05 PM in Greene County.

The incident happened on Farm Road 105, about .5 miles north of Willard.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol Crash report says the incident occurred when a 2013 Chevrolet Traverse, driven by the 28-year-old Willard resident Robert Hicks, was traveling northbound when he crossed the centerline and collided head-on with an unnamed 17-year-old Springfield juvenile, who was driving a 2007 Mini Cooper.

Both drivers were pronounced dead.

The unnamed juvenile was wearing her seatbelt; Hicks did not have his seatbelt on.

An occupant in one of the vehicles, 27-year-old Davey Hicks, was not wearing her seatbelt and sustained moderate injuries in the crash.

She was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment.
