Events planned for MSSU’s Japan Semester canceled
These events were scheduled for October 21 and October 22
Two events that were planned for later this October which played a role in the Japan Semester at Missouri Southern State University have been canceled.
Marimba soloist, writer, and teacher Rebecca Kite had two programs scheduled for next week.
“The World of Marimba Music” was scheduled for Thursday, October 21 in Webster Hall’s Corley Auditorium at 7:30 PM.
The other event was “Keiko Abe and the Evolution of the Concert Marimba”, which was scheduled for Firday, October 22 in the same hall at 10 AM.
Kite lives in Madison Wisconsin and was unable to travel to Missouri for the events next week, according to a Missouri Southern State University news release.
