Major shakeup in Gov. Mike Parson’s administration

Five agencies affected . . . . .

Some big changes have been announced in Missouri Gov. Mike Parson’s administration.  A total of five agencies are affected.

Office of Administration Commissioner Sarah Steelman will be replaced by current Dept. of Revenue director Ken Zellers.

Also out is Jennifer Tidball, acting director of the Dept. of Social Services. She’ll be replaced by Parson’s deputy chief of staff Robert Knodell.

The Department of Revenue’s general counsel, Joseph Plaggenberg, will become acting director of the DOR.

In the Department of Mental Health, Valerie Huhn, deputy director in the Department of Mental Health, will become acting director when department Director Mark Stringer retires at the end of the month.

Maggie Kost, the deputy director of the Department of Economic Development, will become acting director when current Director Rob Dixon departs later this month to return to the private sector.
