Missouri’s fall color show begins soon
Missouri’s fall color show begins soon.
Missouri’s trees, shrubs and vines will soon burst into its full color glory.
University of Missouri Extension horticulturist David Trinklein says some years are better than others, but once a decade colors really pop.
He says 2021 might be one of those years.
Color changes begin in northern Missouri and move south, usually peaking around the third weekend of October.
Fall colors are expected to last four to six weeks in most of Missouri.
