Liberty Utilities slates planned power outage for Monday morning

In order to make a necessary equipment repair safely and to maintain continued service reliability, Liberty crews will perform a scheduled power outage in Joplin early Monday morning.

The planned outage will begin at 1 a.m. on Monday, October 11, and will last approximately four hours.

This scheduled outage is the result of a necessary equipment repair and is needed to ensure the safety of crews and to prevent any potential larger and longer unplanned outages.

Liberty has expressed its thanks to customers as crews work to complete the work safely.
