City of Joplin announces entrance to City Hall to be closed due to project
An estimated completion date is set for October 25
The City of Joplin has announced that beginning Monday, October 11, the west entrance to City Hall, located at 602 S. Main Street, will be closed during normal business hours.
The only access to the building will be available through the Main Street entrance or the 6th Street entrance.
The purpose of this closure is to allow contractors to safely continue their brick restoration project on the southwest corner of City Hall; they will then move to the northwest corner of the building.
Additionally, access to the utility payment box on the west side near the alley will be closed during business hours.
These closures will remain in effect for two weeks, with an end time set for October 25.
