Two-vehicle crash Wednesday in Jasper county causes moderate to serious injuries for 6 people

A two-vehicle crash on Wednesday in Jasper county caused moderate to serious injuries to the individuals involved.
The incident took place at 2:15 PM on HWY 171, about three miles north of Asbury.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol Crash report says the crash occurred when a 2014 Ford Van failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a 2017 Lexus.
The driver of the Ford van, 43-year-old Joshua Dudley, sustained moderate injuries; Kathi Bishop, the driver of the Lexus, sustained serious injuries. Both drivers were from Joplin.
Both were taken to Freeman Hospital in Joplin for treatment.
Additionally, three occupants involved in the crash sustained serious injuries, one received moderate.
These individuals were 24-year-old Carl Junction resident Waylon Campbell, 69-year-old Norman, Oklahoma resident Deborah Biggers, and 83-year-old Joplin resident Clarence Bishop.
The occupant who received moderate injuries was 70-year-old Tommy Biggers, also from Norman, Oklahoma
These occupants were taken to both Freeman and Mercy Hospital of Joplin for treatment
At least 5 of the individuals involved in the accident were wearing a seatbelt.
