KBI arrests Undersheriff in Kinsely, KS Monday morning
Robert Blackwell was arrested for aggravated domestic battery
Yesterday, the Kansas Bureau of Investigation announced the arrest of the Edwards County Undersheriff after a reported domestic violence incident.
Around 7:40 PM a 911 call was made from a residence in Kinsley, KS.
As a deputy arrived on the scene, it was revealed that 39-year-old Robert “Bobby” Blackwell, also from Kinsley and serves as the Edwards County Undersheriff, was involved in a physical altercation, according to a news release from the Kansas Bureau of Investigation.
The KBI was called to investigate the situation.
After evidence was collected and interviews were conducted, Blackwell was arrested for aggravated domestic battery.
He was arrested at 3:30 AM Monday morning and booked in Ford County Detention Center.
