Carl Junction Bluegrass Festival this weekend

If you like traditional melodies, banjos, and harmonies,  one local city is the place for you this weekend.

The Carl Junction Bluegrass Festival kicks off with a jamboree tonight from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Stark Auditorium.

Then the Festival will run from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday in Center Creek Park with plenty of music, food and fun.

There is no cost for admission or general parking at the Carl Junction Bluegrass Festival.

Pets are not allowed (except for service animals).

Special V.I.P. parking costs $5.
