Joplin City Council to discuss Fire Department Resource Allocation Study
The Joplin City Council meets tonight.
Items on the Agenda include a Resource Allocation Study for the Joplin Fire Department.
The study includes 17 recommendations for the future regarding staffing, Fire Station location and other subjects.
The Council will also note that Constitution Week is taking place this week and members will name October 2nd as Arbor Day.
They will also talk about Winter Warming Centers.
The regular meeting will be followed by a closed session, which shall pertain to and the hiring, firing, disciplining, or promotion of an employee or particular employees involving personal information more specifically for the purpose of evaluating certain Council employees
The regular meeting gets underway at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers at 602 Main Street in Joplin.
