Crash in NE Oklahoma kills one adult, two children

A crash southeast of Miami just after 2 p.m. Friday afternoon has taken the life of a Joplin man and two children.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) says the wreck occurred on 10-C near South 670 road when a car left the roadway and overturned multiple times.

29-year-old Terry Wilikins of Joplin and two boys, ages 7 and 5, were killed.

The driver of the car, 23-year-old Anthony Hendricks of Joplin, was treated in northeast Oklahoma and then transferred to Cox Hospital in Springfield.

The OHP says cause of the crash remains under investigation.
