Carthage Area United Way 2021 campaign underway
Money raised during the event goes to help numerous local groups
The Carthage Area United Way 2021 campaign is underway.
The event is held every year in four-month durations to raise money for local organizations.
The groups partnering with the 2021 Carthage Area United Way campaign include the Carthage Crisis Center, Children’s Haven of Southwest Missouri, Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Carthage Crosslines Ministries, Jasper County 4-H, the Salvation Army of Jasper and Newton County, the Ozark Trails Council of Boy Scouts of America, Community Clinic of Southwest Missouri, Special Olympics of Missouri, Lafayette House, and Community Support Services of Missouri and Art Feeds.
An official goal from the campaign has not been announced, but it’s expected to be similar to previous years.
