MSSU to hold events as upcoming semester draws closer
The first event takes place this Sunday
Several events are planned for Missouri Southern State University as the upcoming semester draws closer.
“Brechung”, an exhibition by faculty members in the Art and Design Department at MSSU, will open to the public on Monday, August 19, in the Spiva Gallery.
This bi-annual show features work from full-time and part-time members of the MSSU faculty.
The show will run through Friday, August 27, with a public reception planned for the previous day, August 26; the reception will start at 6 PM.
Gallery hours will be 8 AM – 5 PM Monday through Thursday. 8AM to 4 PM Friday.
On Sunday, Campus Craze will take place from 6 PM to 7 PM. This event allows students to meet with representatives from more than 30 registered student organizations to learn how they can get involved.
In addition to the “Brechung” event, the Welcome Week Picnic also takes place on Monday. It is scheduled from 10:30 AM to 1 PM on the Oval.
The final event takes place on Wednesday, August 17, with Community Day. The event will start at 10:30 AM to 1 PM on the Oval.
