Deputies arrest one in connection with Tobacco Shack burglary

Early Thursday morning, Vernon County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report  of a burglary that occurred in the overnight hours. Deputies were dispatched to the Tobacco Shack business just outside the Nevada city limits.

During the investigation, detectives were able to identify the vehicle and suspect, who was apprehended late Friday evening.

During a search of the suspect’s vehicle,  suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were located.

The suspect has been identified as 29-year-old Ethan Orr of Nevada.  A warrant was issued over the weekend charging Orr  with Burglary 2nd Degree, Stealing, and Possession of Controlled  Substance.

Orr is currently being held at the Vernon County Jail.
