Drowned man’s body recovered from Lake of the Ozarks

There has been another drowning in southwest Missouri.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the body of 20-year-old Cornelious Anderson of Elwood, Kansas has been recovered from the Lake of the Ozarks.

He had been missing since Saturday when he entered the water near the Shady Gators area and did not resurface.

Drownings are up throughout Missouri compared to past years.

There have been seven this year in the Lake of the Ozarks region, five of those in July.
