Vaccine clinic set for Garth Brooks concert in Kansas City

(AP) —Fans attending the Garth Brooks concert at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City next month will be given a chance to get the COVID-19 vaccine. 

Kansas City Chiefs officials say they have worked with the city to organize the clinic during Brooks’ concert on Aug. 7. 

Chiefs president Mark Donovan said Monday that the team plans to take every opportunity to provide vaccinations. 

He said the team is considering offering vaccines during Chiefs game days this fall but he wasn’t sure if that will be possible. 

A vaccine clinic was held at Arrowhead Stadium last spring.
