One person dead following fatal shooting at Springfield Walmart
The incident occurred around 12:21 PM Wednesday
One person was killed following a shooting that took place Wednesday afternoon at the Springfield Walmart Neighborhood Market, according to a Springfield Police Department Facebook post.
Springfield Police were dispatched around 12:21 PM to the address of 1320 Glenstone after a 911 caller reported that a male subject had been shot; when officers arrived at the scene, they found a male in front of the business who had suffered from a gunshot wound.
Medical attention was provided to the male, but he succumbed to his injuries.
The victim was identified as 33-year-old Springfield resident Tanner Stichka.
The Springfield Police Department Identified 45-year-old Bentonville resident Robert Weiser as a suspect in the case.
Weiser was arrested and booked for 2nd Degree Murder.
