Joplin Mayor Stanley on cyber attack

Last week, the city of Joplin suffered a cyber attack on the computer systems.   Joplin Mayor Ryan Stanley told Newstalk KZRG that the investigation is ongoing into what happened.   

When asked if the city had paid a ransom, the Mayor said “If dollars are flowing out of the city, significant dollars, it would have to come before the city council before that was approved and the city council has not met on this.” 

The Mayor went on to say that investigators have told them how to answer questions about the cyber attack situation.
