Freeman Chief Nursing Officer named Crowder’s Alumnus of the Year

An area nursing executive has received an honor from her alma mater.

Crowder College in Neosho has announced that Jeannee Kennedy, RN, Chief Nursing Officer at Freeman Health System in Joplin, has been named 2021 Crowder Alumnus of the Year by the Crowder College Foundation.

Kennedy graduated from Crowder with an associate’s degree in 2009.

She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from American Sentinel University in Aurora Colorado.

Kennedy was also recently appointed to the Missouri Board of Nursing by Missouri Governor Mike Parson.
