New dog park opens at the Joplin Bungalows

The Economic Security Corporation’s Joplin Bungalows teamed with the Ozark Center to create a dog park for the veterans and senior citizens that live in the Bungalows.   

According to the Ozark Center Chief Administrative Officer, Vicky Mieseler  “Our goal is to encourage the veterans who live here to ask for and request service dogs because they are important to veterans.  The dogs are very close partners.”

The park is located just south of 26th and McCoy near the parking lots for the residences.
