Two children recovered Sunday after abduction by father following shooting

Two children have been recovered safely after a shooting that took place in Reynolds County around 1 PM Sunday.

Reports say that 43-year-old Jason Baker took his two sons, 7-year-old Grant Baker and 9 -year-old Carter Baker, with him after he was involved with an alleged homicide earlier that morning.

Baker was reportedly driving one of two vehicles, one being a Chevrolet truck with potential license plate 0WDDV42 or a 2005 Chevrolet Taho with potential plates UM2W7S

Later on Sunday afternoon around 3 PM, The Missouri State Highway Patrol stated on social media that the two boys had been found safe.

The MSHP says Baker is still armed and should be considered dangerous.

He was last seen around in Reynolds County.
