The McCloskeys plead guilty to misdemeanors, agree to forfeit guns
Both Mark and Patricia McCloskey have pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges after they were seen pointing guns at protestors while protecting their home last June in St. Louis.
The two claimed that those social injustice protesters were trespassing as they were making their way to the home of then-Mayor Lyda Krewson.
Mark pleaded guilty to misdemeanor fourth-degree assault and was fined $750. Patricia pleaded guilty to misdemeanor harassment and was fined $2,000.
Neither will face jail time but the two did consent to forfeit their guns to be destroyed. Their trial was scheduled to start in November.
Mark McCloskey announced last month that he was running for a U.S. Senate seat in Missouri.
