MSSU Board of Governors to meet, tour new residence hall
Members of the MSSU Board of Governors will take a tour of “Lion Village,” the school’s new 92,000 square foot residence hall, Wednesday morning.
The new hall will be able to house 300 students in standard rooms and four-bedroom suites.
The university chose to build the structure despite a reported drop of almost 10 percent in its total student enrollment just last fall.
After the visit to the new building and board committee meetings, the Governors will meet at 1 p.m. in MSSU’s Connor Ballroom. That meeting is open to the public.
Following the public meeting, the MSSU Board will meet in closed session.
