Minivan hits tree on Kafir Road: One person dead, four injured

One person is dead and four others are hospitalized after a minivan crashed into a tree on Kafir Road just north of Oronogo.

The accident happened around 2 a.m. this morning.

There were five people in the van and the one person who died was pronounced dead at the scene.

Multiple first responder units worked the accident. Some of the victims reportedly had to be cut out of the van.

No names have been released at this time.
