Joplin Police Department announces retirement of officer
Seargent Dan Haskins had been with the JPD for 17 years
The Joplin Police Department said farewell to one of their own on Thursday, as one of their officers retired.
Seargent Dan Haskins had 17 years of service with the Joplin Police Department, according to the Facebook post.
Haskins previously worked for the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office and the Neosho Police Department.
While at the JPD, he served in the Patrol Bureau, Investigations, SWAT, Traffic Unit, Motorcycle Officer, Internal Affairs, and briefly in dispatch.
