Sen. Blunt says America needs to push back against Russia
Missouri U.S. Senator Roy Blunt says America needs to push back against Russia for its cybersecurity hacks.
Blunt says the U.S. pushed back “pretty hard” against Russia involving the 2018 election, but he says that has stopped.
On Meet the Press, Blunt, a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee, says Russia needs to be treated like virtually a criminal enterprise to some extent.
According to Senator Blunt, “When there is no penalty and there are no sanctions, it is hard to find who’s doing it, even when you can find where they are, we haven’t really effectively sanctioned the countries who are protecting this kind of activity.”
The world’s largest meat processor, JBS, was the target of a recent hack the White House believes originated out of Russia.
