Ambassador Claire McCaskill?

Former Missouri Democratic Senator Claire McCaskill is under consideration for an ambassadorship in western Europe.

Axios reports it’s another sign President Biden will tap party allies over big-dollar donors when he starts to name his political ambassadors as soon as next week. 

McCaskill is to be joined in the diplomatic corps by Rahm Emanuel, who has been promised ambassador to Japan .and L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti, headed for India …

Since losing her Senate seat to Republican Josh Hawley,  McCaskill has been a political commentator on cable network MSNBC.
