Groundbreaking for College of Dental Medicine this Saturday

A groundbreaking ceremony for the proposed KCU College of Dental Medicine is slated for 2 to 3 p.m. this Saturday, May 22nd.

It will take place on the KCU-Joplin Campus at 2901 St. John’s Boulevard.

In addition to training new dentists, the economic impact of the new facility is estimated to be $45 million dollars.

The Dental School also should bring 200 jobs to the city of Joplin and generate up to $1.5 million in state and local taxes each year.
