Lansing Correctional Facility in Kansas experiences resident death

A resident of a Kansas correctional facility has died, according to the Kansas Department of Corrections.
Addison L Payne died Tuesday, May 11 at Lansing Correctional Facility.
The Kansas Department of Corrections is investigating.
Payne was serving a life sentence for robbery, aggravated kidnapping, aggravated sodomy, and rape.
He had been imprisoned with KDOC since April 1993.
LFC is an all-male correction facility with a capacity of 2,432 residents.
