Joplin repeals covid restrictions

At Monday night’s Joplin City Council meeting, the requirements and recommendations for precautions in businesses were repealed by going into step 4 of the plan.

The motion put forward would allow the city to go back to restrictions if the need arises.

Step four of the Joplin Response and Recovery Plan is currently being written by city staff.

Masks are no longer required while visiting city hall.
