DNR provides late fee waiver update

In response to the financial hardship experienced by many during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Missouri Department of Natural Resources obtained approval to waive late fees, penalties, and accrued interest associated with late payment of permit, primacy, and laboratory services and administrative fees during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Department will not collect late fees, penalties, or accrued interest for any payments due between March 13, 2020 and June 30, 2021. If you already paid late fees, interest, or penalties for permit, primacy, or laboratory services and administrative fees for the time period of March 13, 2020, through June 30, 2021, the Department will credit that amount on your next invoice.

Note that the Department is waiving late fees, penalties and interest only. The original permit, primacy, and laboratory services or administrative fees, are still due. Late fees, penalties and interest may begin accruing on all outstanding balances for permit, primacy, and laboratory services and administrative fees, beginning July 1, 2021.
