Trouble finding workers to fill jobs

Almost everywhere you drive in Joplin, you see “now hiring” signs.   Employers are having a hard time finding workers to fill the jobs.

The reason, the unemployed are making more money on unemployment benefits from staying at home and not working.

Reports state that the unemployment aid is hurting the economy and not helping it.
