Tuesday evening crash results in traffic blocking Zora road for two hours
The incident happened after the driver swerved to avoid another vehicle
A Tuesday evening crash around 5:45 PM along East Zora, just west of the 249 overpass, which resulted in all lanes of traffic being blocked.
A Missouri State Highway Patrol reports says the driver swerved to avoid another vehicle coming into his lane, which caused the trailer they were hauling to break free and lay over.
The Joplin Fire Department, Duenweg Fire Department, and the Webb City Fire Department all responded to the scene.
The driver of the vehicle was wearing his seat belt and did not suffer injuries.
The road was reopened at 7:30 PM.
