Axe Library to offer “grab bag” book sale April 19-20
Axe Library at Pittsburg State University will host a “grab bag” book sale from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 19 and April 20 on the first floor.
The format means materials will be prepackaged into bags based on themes, genres, or authors for $2 for paperbacks or $3 for hardbacks.
“We hope students, staff, faculty, and the community will drop by and pick up some reading material to get you through the spring and summer,” said Learning Outreach Librarian Jorge León. “You can discover a new favorite Western, or a cooking murder mystery, or find an inspirational–themed bag.”
The Axe Library Book Sale is always a community effort, made possible by donations, he noted. Materials change each year. Proceeds help fund annual library programming. Axe Library continues to accept book donations for the sale year–round.
