Three people from Nevada charged after Friday search warrant was conducted
Various items seized were methamphetamine, marijuana, prescription drugs, and drug paraphernalia
Three people were taken into custody and charged last Friday, according to a post from the Nevada Missouri Police Department.
Previously, the Nevada Police executed a search warrant in the 700 block of E. Lee Street and the 400 block of S. Lynn Street in response to reports of illegal drug activity at those locations.
Seized during the search were controlled substances of methamphetamine, marijuana, prescription drugs, and drug paraphernalia.
Three Nevada residents, 58-year-old Brenda Johnson, 34-year-old Amanda Lamae, and 35-year-old Derrek Bennett were all taken into custody by Nevada Police.
Johnnson was charged with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance; She is being held in the Vernono County Jail in lieu of a $5,000 bond.
Lamae was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana Prior Drug Offense, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Prior Drug Offense; Lamae is being held in the Vernon County Jail in lieu of a $5,000 bond.
Bennett was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance. He is being held in the Vernon County Jail in lieu of a $10.000 cash-only bond.
