Two Carthage men arrested for having alleged sexual activity with juveniles

Two Carthage men are alleged to have had sexual  activity with juveniles reported as missing from Joplin on March 23.

The two reportedly picked up the juveniles in Joplin and then transported them to Carthage.

Both men were arrested by Carthage Police on March 25.

Court documents say that 21-year-old Roldy Edilverto DeLeon is charged in Jasper County with two counts: statutory rape or attempted statutory rape in the 1st Degree with a person less than 14 years of age.

Blake Gonzalez-Reyes, now 19 but 18 at the time of the incident, is charged with one count of Statutory Rape or attempted statutory rape in the1st degree with a Person less than 14 years of age.

Both were held in Carthage pending bond hearings.

The juveniles’ names are not being released.
