Applications open for the Legends & Lore Roadside Marker Program

Communities in Missouri will have an opportunity to spotlight their town or city’s folklore this bicentennial year.
Applications are being accepted through May 3 for the first of two applications periods in 2021.

Grants for the Legends & Lore Roadside Marker program, which was established to promote cultural tourism and celebrate legends and folklore as part of local and state heritage, is funded by the William G Pomeroy Foundation.
Missouri is one of 11 states to receive the grant.
